With 9 studio albums and his upcoming release (Dandelion Blue – Oct 2026) his song ‘Gratitude“ won the 2025 IAMA (International Acoustic Music Award), repeating the same feat he accomplished in winning a 2023 IAMA for his song “Every Child”
Gordie sings with a rough, humble and honest quality which adds to the power of his writing and is a testament to the authenticity that he brings to every performance
For the past 5 years off the stage he is part of an indigenous led healing team (Shawthan Nazhi) supporting families writing healing songs focused on intergenerational trauma. The program was awarded the Arctic Inspiration Prize.
