Not only considered an incomparable Francophone ambassador, Le Vent du Nord is a driving force behind Quebec’s progressive folk movement, as well as a flagship group in Quebec’s traditional music revival movement.
Since its foundation in 2002 it has experienced a meteoric rise that never ceases to amaze! Having performed more than 2000 concerts on 4 continents, released 11 albums, the group has been the recipient of many prestigious awards including a GRAND PRIX DU DISQUE CHARLES CROS (France), two JUNO AWARDS, as well as being awarded ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the International Folk Alliance Conference (2004) and at the Canadian Folk Music Awards!
