Megan Abel is a BC-raised vocalist and writer who has spent the past several years performing, studying, and teaching music. In 2020 Megan graduated from the Contemporary Music & Technology program at Selkirk College, connecting shortly afterward with Michael Vaughan; Yukon and BC-based artist and guitarist. Meg n’Mike create unique acoustic-indie music that is rhythmically intricate, with thought-provoking themes and mesmerizing melodies.
They draw influence from RY X, Florence and The Machine, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Over the past year, they have organized events and performed at various venues throughout BC and The Yukon.
