Salmon Arm Folk Music Society AGM

The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society Annual General Meeting will be held on January 18, 2023 at the Comfort Inn in Salmon Arm. Doors will open at

6:30pm and the AGM will begin promptly at 7:00pm. The membership, past and present, and the public are invited to attend.

Only active members of the SAFMS are allowed to vote at the AGM. Memberships will not be sold at the AGM. If you are interested to vote at the AGM you must buy a $16 membership before January 16, 2023.

Notice of Addition to SAFMS Bylaws will be proposed by Special Resolution.

2.6 (c) Membership dues at least 30 days prior to AGM to be deemed in good standing.

4.7 Board meeting attendance (Text made available at SAFMS website)

All candidates interested to be on the Board of Directors must be an active member of the society and are required to submit in writing their intention to be considered a nominee for the AGM election by January 8, 2023.

The Board of Directors has 4 positions open to be filled. Elections will be held during the AGM. SAFMS governance committee is encouraging nominees with skills and experience in finance, legal and sponsorship to apply.
