- ALL TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE
- IMPORTANT – bring your tickets with you, you will need your tickets for check-in at the box office at the main gate, Do NOT Forget them at home! BE SURE you arrive before 10 pm to pick up your tickets!
- Choose a 3 day festival pass Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or a 4 day festival pass this includes Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Or choose a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday festival pass, available on June 1st.
- Purchase tickets or pick up your tickets from December 1st 2019 up to August 12th at 5 pm. After that you can purchase or pick up at the festival main gate.

- For those who have their tickets with them on arrival go to the main gate, to the booths where they say ticketholders get wristbanded here.
- For those picking up their tickets go to the main gate and claim your tickets with ID, the purchaser must pick up, and you will be wristbanded at the ticket pick-up tents. Your party must be with you to be banded. We do not hold tickets for anyone.
- Purchasing tickets at the festival go through the main gate.
- Children 12 and under are FREE!

- ROOTSandBLUES camping is across from the festival site, steps away
- 4-day check-in time is Thursday 2 pm – 8 pm
- 7-day check-in time is Monday at 2 pm – 8 pm

- Sites are pre-assigned for you by ROOTSandBLUES in advance, we will notify you with your campground # and site# by August 1st. If you would like to camp by other campers you will have to arrange by May 31st. We will assign the sites before your arrival, there is no selection of campground or site numbers.
- Go directly to the campgrounds located behind the festival site and check-in to receive your camping bands and parking pass for the campgrounds. Only the purchaser’s name is on the reservation list for check-in. Campground-Directions-to-ROOTSandBLUES-festival

- MERCHANDISE TENT – Be sure to check out the merchandise tent to see all our NEW stock for 2020. Quantities and sizes are limited! Performer CD signings are held at the Merchandise tent check for posting of performers and times at the Merch tent. Programs will be available for purchase for $5 at the main box office and at the Merchandise tent.
- PLAYZONE – For your inner child to be discovered. Located between the Engage and Main Stages. Interactive and engaging games, hula-hoops and other play items are placed on the field to encourage random acts of fun. All ages welcome!
- HUB INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S ZONE – Family fun? The play zone includes a circus type activity, bouncy houses, a climbing wall, face painting, pet rock painting by Inclusive Arts and other interactive events. Interactive Art Experience by Meikle Studios. View the visual arts as the art is being created during the event. Open Saturday and Sunday
- ACUITY GLOW PARADE AT NIGHT – Follow the glowing crusade through the event at night.
- MAIN BEVERAGE GARDEN – Choose from Mott’s premixed cocktails, Summerhill wines, Scenic Road ciders, Craft brews from Crannog Ales, and Mount Begbie.
- SUMMERHILL WINE LOUNGE 19+ (located in the main beverage garden) – Enjoy a mini Okanagan/Shuswap wine tour without leaving the festival grounds. Wine tasting events and sales are located at the Summerhill Wine Lounge in the Main Beverage Garden. Participating Vineyards include: Summerhill, Sunnybrae, Monte Creek, Recline Ridge, Marionette, Indigenous World.
- CANADA DRY BARN BEVERAGE GARDEN– family friendly location – Choose from Mott’s premixed cocktails, Summerhill wines, Scenic Road ciders, Craft brews from Crannog Ales, and Mount Begbie.
- HAMMOCKS – Hammocks are placed in pods all over the event grounds to chill while enjoying the relaxed vibes. Hammocks courtesy of Elevations Industries.
- RECHARGING STATION – This lounge offers a device self-charging service, wifi hotspot, and sofas to make this area useful for recharging your mind and device while relaxing in the shade on a comfy couch. Supported by ThinkMonkey and Mascon.
- 50/50 DRAW – Participate for a chance to win! Sellers located throughout the site.
- PANCAKE BREAKFAST – The Rotary will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 11 am with live music, performers to be announced. Located at the Hucul Printing parking lot on the corner of 5thSt and 5thAve. Across from the festival.
- INTERNATIONAL FOOD VILLAGE – Hungry? Enjoy the food from over 25 food vendors with something for everyone! Just yum…
- ARTISAN VILLAGE – Visit the Artisan area, with over 25 Artisans, all crafted wares are inspired by the finest in Western Canada, unique jewelry, art, festival wear, leather crafting, henna tattoos, art, cigar box guitars, pottery, tie-dye clothing and many other crafted items.
- NON-PROFIT ALLEY – ROOTSandBLUES presents non-profit booths from our community to support and increase awareness of other organizations.
- SEATING in the TD Main Stage and CBC Blues & Beyond Stage audience areas have specific sections for festival (low backed) and taller chairs. Chair type examples can be viewed at the Main and West Gate entrances. LAWN CHAIR HEIGHT – 32″ and under will go to the front of the stage, 33″ and over will go to the back.
- TARPS are only allowed on the ground and to be placed in the designated tarp zone in the TD Main Stage audience area. No tarp larger than 8’x10′ will be allowed.
- DANCING – We request patrons to be courteous of one another and attempt not to block the view of those seated. For those who prefer to sit, please be understanding that some patrons come to music festivals to enjoy the experience while dancing.
- WATER BOTTLES – We are working hard to reduce our environmental footprint. Please help us in this effort by bringing your own water bottle. The festival has eliminated plastic water bottle sales and single use plastic items in an effort to be more sustainable. Water stations will be available throughout the site.
- LOST CHILDREN – If your child wanders off, they will be sent to the Event Central building. Please make them aware of the location, should they require assistance. Tip: please leave your phone number on your children’s wristbands, in order for us to contact you!
- EVENT HOSTS – If you need help or information, our event volunteers are wearing matching T-shirts and are happy to assist you with any concerns.
- SMOKING & VAPING POLICY – The Festival grounds follow a no smoking/vaping policy unless a patron is in one of the three designated zones. The Smoking & Vaping zones are located in a specific section in the Main Beverage Garden and in the back area of the Shade and Canada Dry Barn Stage areas. Please pinch and pocket, or place in one of the sand buckets located in the smoking areas and next to the waste receptacles. Our friends from Brain Garden will be on site distributing pocket ashtrays by donation, and collecting cigarette butts for recycling.
- FIRST AID – If you require medical assistance we provide First Aid on site, located by the grandstands.
- LOST AND FOUND – If you have lost or found, please go to EVENT CENTRAL located at the centre of the grounds and report or turn in lost items. (By the grandstands)
- COMPOSTING – We provide stations located all over the site, please compost. All of our vendors are using compostable items, and all the beverage cups are compostable. Please use the appropriate receptacles on site.

Pre-festival events are open to the community and festival patrons in the week leading up to the event. Some of these events are free, by donation only. Downtown and Uptown stores and restaurants and pubs partner with the ROOTSandBLUES to bring a week-long concert series to the community. Super Crawl series finale is held on the Thursday night at the Canada Dry Barn Stage, $25 per ticket, or if you have a 4 day festival pass you have access into this event.

PATRON ACCESSIBILITY POLICIES
- The ROOTSandBLUES Festival is committed to meeting the needs of those with disabilities. The festival prides itself on being small enough to attend to the individual needs of such individuals, while being large enough to provide the amenities they need. The following policies will be put into practice. The festival reviews its practices annually. Any that do not respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities are modified or removed.
- INFORMATION – We will have a guest/information booth on site where visitors can access one-on-one support from our volunteers to provide any necessary communication guidance.
- NOTICE OF TEMPORARY DISRUPTION – In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for people with disabilities (including, but not limited to, on-site facilities, accessible parking, and volunteer assistance), ROOTSandBLUES Festival will promptly up-date all affected people by announcements from the Main stage and the Barn Stage. Complete copies of the Emergency Plan, including all Emergency Response Procedures, will be kept at the Guest/Volunteer booth for distribution at the start of the Festival.
- PARKING – Due to limited availability, only those patrons with an official accessible pass recognized by the BC Ministry of Transportation will be able to park on 5th St. Individuals with a temporary disability due to injury, etc., are advised to contact the BC Ministry of Transportation to enquire about their eligibility for a parking pass. We would be happy to provide transportation (i.e., gators) to & from the causeway for those passengers with temporary injuries. Please inquire at the Main Gate Guest/Volunteer Booth or West Gate.
- SERVICE ANIMALS – ROOTSandBLUES Festival welcomes people with disabilities who are accompanied by certified service animals. Certified service dogs are the exception. SITE ACCESSIBILITY – The site itself, mostly is a level grassed area with access from the ( West Gate and Main Gate). There are washroom facilities for persons with disabilities.
- SITE TRANSPORTATION – ask our volunteers at the gates to contact site transport to assist you.
- SUPPORT PERSONS – If an individual with a disability has a support worker employed for hire (i.e., Special Service at Home workers, or other paid contracts) and they wish to attend the support person will get entrance at no charge. All other support persons, i.e., family members and friends, will be charged the same rate as other patrons.
