Plulk’w Place, meaning the Gathering Place in Secwépemctsín, the language of the Secwépemec, is located at the heart of the festival, where music, culture, knowledge, games, and teaching are celebrated for their unique ability of community building, playing a key role in preserving traditions, sharing stories, and fostering a sense of belonging. The stage setting offers interactive musical and movement workshops, and Indigenous storytelling, bringing folks at the festival together to learn and celebrate together. The booths surrounding the stage offer education, interactive displays, and opportunities to better understand Secwepemc ways of knowing and being.
